If you have a Website then you need to market that site on the Internet. You can't expect people to find you if you don't use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on your Website. If you do expect to be found,  well, I'm sorry to say, you are wrong and living proof you are.  You'll just lose potential clients and you may as well not have invested on your Website and on the Internet from the start.

What everybody is going to do is use the popular search engines (Google, Yahoo! and MSN) and type the name of the service or product they are looking for. They will not type in the name of your company because they are looking for the service or product itself, they are not looking for your company in particular.

The best thing you can do is try it yourself, type the name of the product or service you are offering on Google and give it a shot. If your company Website is not on the first two pages then you have absolutely no chance people will find you.

Do this a few times, change the product or service description a little. If you are still not found they you have to realize you really have wasted your money on a Website. It is basically doing nothing for your business.

Now take a decision, you can care about your Website and market it or you may as well call your hosting provider and cancel the account. Remember what it is all about is having more money come in than going out. With Internet SEO marketing, first you will have money going out but then, if you market properly that is, you will see the benefits after a few months. If you don't plan to market whatsoever nothing magical is going to happen, you won't suddenly appear on Google or anything like that, cancel your Website and save money.
